Alan Dunne, Managing Partner and Consultant
Alan Dunne is an experienced business leader with a track record of leading and growing customer-centric businesses for over two decades.
Alan has extensive experience in developing and leading organisations in public and private sector environments.
A qualified Engineer with a Degree from Trinity College Dublin, he has held leadership roles with organisations in diverse sectors such as Supply Chain, Insurance, Customer Care, Transportation and Mobility. His private sector career includes Executive roles with AA Ireland, APCOA Parking Group and Liberty Insurance.
Mary Dunne, Partner and Consultant
Mary brings a wealth of expertise to the Iregan Advisors team, serving as a vital link between operations and communications. With her diverse background and passion for driving sustainable growth, Mary plays a pivotal role in enhancing our clients’ success.
Mary holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin and a Higher Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Technological University of the Shannon, equipping her with a deep understanding of the ever-evolving digital landscape. With a unique ability to bridge the gap between operational efficiency and effective communication, Mary ensures that our clients’ objectives are seamlessly aligned. Leveraging her expertise, she consistently identifies innovative strategies to optimise online presence and engage target audiences effectively.
Beyond her digital prowess, Mary is known for her commitment to education, community and literacy development. Her roles in the South East Technological University, City of Dublin ETB and as Chairperson of the National Adult Literacy Agency have seen her spearhead the creation and delivery of impactful training programs, and strategies that empower individuals, communities and promote literacy, fostering positive change in society.
By collaborating closely with stakeholders, she delivers comprehensive solutions that not only enhance internal processes but also strengthen external messaging, driving organizational growth.
Sean Douglas, Partner and Consultant
Sean is a senior operations and transformation executive with a track record of leading large-scale service, operational excellence and strategic execution programmes across financial services, banking, travel and telecoms.
He has delivered complex operational transformations involving enterprise remediation, operating model redesign and customer operations modernisation across domestic and international environments. He has built a 1,200+ FTE offshore capability in India from inception for IQ-EQ, led enterprise complaints transformation at Commonwealth Bank of Australia under ASIC regulatory reform, and held regional P&L accountability across APAC and Europe for American Express Global Business Travel.
His approach combines commercial rigour, operational discipline and pragmatic execution, with a focus on technology-enabled transformation – digital service models, automation, analytics-led performance management and scalable global delivery.
Sean is based in Belfast and holds a BA (Hons) in European Business and a Masters in International Commerce from KEDGE Business School, France.

As an organisation we are passionate about reading and history. Every person across the world named Dunne or Dunn is descended from the O’Duinn clan, which came from Ireland’s ancient Uí Riagain territory that straddled the borders of counties Laois and Offaly. ‘Uí Riagain’ was anglicised as ‘Iregan’ and that’s where our company name comes from.
